Liposuction is appreciated by most of the women as it is a very quick procedure that uses minimum incision in the fatty areas and suctions out the fat very easily without much scarring and blood loss. Laser liposuction not only removes the excess fat but also tightens the floppy skin too. Now a day Laser Liposuction is done as an outpatient procedure with less scaring and blood loss. Tumescent Liposuction is more gradual and a controlled method of removing excess fat from the body. This procedure involves in injecting a local anesthetic in the fatty area along with the solution of a medical liquid in the tissue. The tissue in turn becomes numb and swollen
This involves injecting of even larger quantities of medical liquid in the adipose tissue that is under treatment. This liquid would make the area numb and would help in preventing blood loss. Once the liquid is injected then the vacuum tube is inserted.
Ultrasonic liposuction or UAL is a modern technique used to liquefy the fat in hard to treat areas with the help of high pitched ultra sonic waves. UAL enables to remove larger volume of fat in hard areas like chin, knees, neck, ankles, calves, male breast, back etc.. It can be performed along with tumescent liposuction for a precise body contouring. During this procedure the body is injected with tumescent fluid in order to prevent the liquid loss and to remove the fat deposits easily. Tumescent fluid is a medical liquid with a combination of local anesthetic, saline solution and epinephrine. A thin vacuum like tube called cannulas are inserted through small incisions in the areas of fat deposits. Then the UAL or the high pitched ultra sonic waves are transmitted. These cannulas when come in contact with the fat cells, they quickly liquefy and suction out the fat very easily. UAL is an effective method to remove fat in larger volumes without much blood loss, scaring, and easy recovery.
Power Assisted Liposuction (PAL) uses a surgical device that provides a power supply through an electric motor which enables the small cannuals inserted to move in a rapid in-and-out motion. This is very gentle and most effective method to remove the fatty tissues with higher percentage of ligament. This method has proven effective for repeated intervention in tissue remodeling and smooth out the irregularities of the suctioned parts. The surgeon creates smaller incisions for the fat removal resulting in less blood loss, scaring and quick recovery.
